Default reduced engine power/stability disabled messages

i am seeing these messages displayed on my tahoe- does anyone know what this means or how to fix it? it is a 2004 tahoe. i have checked the oil and the coolant and they are full.

The most common problem that will cause this problem is a bad connection (crimp) or broekn wire at the Throttle Actuator Control (TAC).

It can be hard to locate the exact problem and may be a good idea to have a dealer or auto shop pull he trouble codes to make sure what system is actually giving the bad signal.
