Which digit in the vin (2016 Suburban) denotes Z-71?

I don't know if the VIN will give that option code, you should check the glove box RPO codes for the Z71 option

When searching on the dealer websites they give the VIN of the vehicle they have for sale - most do a horrible job of listing the option or packages.
Really hard to locate Z-71, they are scarce anyway.
Thanks for getting back to me - I will check out those codes in the glove box next trip to the dealer.

thanks Derik- I typed in my current VIN and got a complete list of specs. Except for Z-71 or diff. ratio. It listed my trim as LTZ and mine is a LT Z-71. I'll keep trying - thanks for your help.
