Same thing happened on my '01 Burb. I bought the replacement part from the dealer, but installing the new one was going to be a huge PITA because the cable is one piece to the radio. I ended up paying a car audio place to install it. Think they charged me like $75.

The antenna mast unscrews from the base and you should be able to screw a new one on. They also make an adapter to plug the cable into the radio when the cables don't match.

Default Antenae

I screwed the new part on but the cable doesn't fit in the new part.there is no way I can get the Antenae cable to the radio without pulling the whole dash apart. The old Antenae wire is loose
