2004 Chevy Tracker just purchased
Just purchased a very nice used 2004 Tracker with V6, auto trans, power everything, cruise, tilt, rear wiper, sporty alloy 15" wheels, cloth interior, chrome grille and factory CD.
It has only 95,300 miles, one owner and well cared for.
It does have a few issues though and one is faded clear coat on the roof and driver top of fender.
The other two that are bugging me are:
- Trouble Code for EVAP Emissions leak
- Rear door windows will not roll down using any power switch
Are there known problems with either of these?

Sometimes the evap code can be removed by installing a new gas cap. Just went through this with my GMC Envoy. It's a really cheap fix and even if it doesn't, you have a new cap and spent under $20. What code is it throwing. Mine was a P0440. Can take 10-20 minutes of driving for the check engine or service engine light to turn off.
Just bought a 2003 Tracker I4, 4x4 auto with 91k miles. Son is driving it for now. Also has a baseplate installed so it's tow-ready behind a motorhome.
