2026 Chevy Silverado Yenko SC Pickups Debut With up to 1,000 HP

The 2026 Chevy Silverado Yenko SC can be had in both lowered 1500 guise, as well as a lifted version of the heavy-duty 2500 and 3500.

As most GM (and car enthusiasts, in general) are already well aware, Don Yenko offered a host of enhanced vehicles via his family’s Chevy dealership in Pennsylvania back in the 1960s and 1970s. Those vehicles became legendary for offering up copious amounts of power, even when compared to the factory muscle car offerings, and Yenko versions of several models were offered over that period of time – including the Camaro, Nova, and Chevelle. Today, those vehicles are worth big bucks, but another outfit is keeping the legend alive with the new 2026 Chevy Silverado Yenko SC.

That company is Special Vehicle Engineering (SVE), which has been offering a variety of modern GM vehicles with Yenko packages for years now. The latest is the 2026 Chevy Silverado Yenko SC, which can be had in light-duty 1500 guise, as well as with the heavy-duty 2500/3500 pickups. Those that want a more traditional, lowered, 1500-series 2026 Chevy Silverado Yenko SC can opt to get one in crew cab or double cab guise, in LT, LTZ, RST, and High Country trims, with a short bed or standard bed, and in two- or four-wheel-drive.

In terms of aesthetics, these trucks get side stripes, unique wheels, SYC Supercharged embroidered front headrests, and Yenko crest embroidered floormats, along with a lowered suspension. However, the real news lies under the hood, where one can opt for three different power levels. The first comes from the 5.3-liter V8, which gets a boost to 700 horsepower, while the 6.2-liter V8 churns out 800 horsepower, and a 6.8-liter option nets one a whopping 1,000 horsepower.

These powerplants feature a blueprinted aluminum block with a balanced rotating assembly, including a forged 1538MV twisted steel crankshaft for the 5.3 and 6.2, or a 4340 steel crankshaft for the 6.8, forged aluminum pistons, upgraded cylinder heads, and SVE’s own high-output supercharger assembly, plus a custom stainless steel exhaust system.

For those that want something a bit beefier, the 2026 Chevy Silverado Yenko SC can also be had in the new HD Off-Road guise, which is based on either the 2500 or 3500, with a crew cab or double cab, and either the standard bed or long bed. It utilizes the same 6.8-liter V8, also making 1,000 horsepower, but adds a lift kit and all-terrain tires wrapped around custom wheels for a more rugged look. In terms of availability, all 2026 Chevy Silverado Yenko SC pickups are sold via official Chevrolet dealers, though pricing hasn’t been revealed yet.
