There’s nothing quite as depressing as having your car stolen – especially when it’s as prized as Charles Estelle’s 1977 Corvette.

Originally his father’s car, it became Estelle’s after it broke down and his dad told him he could have the C3 if he got it fixed. Since then, Estelle has developed a special bond with the car. However, now he’s trying to track down the vehicle after it was stolen from outside a personal garage in Pennsylvania’s Paradise Townships where Estelle was getting some engine work performed on it.

The mechanic, Corey Bollinger, says he has some ideas about who might have taken the car because there were only a few people who knew he was out of town when it was stolen.

Police are following up on leads, but Estelle is soliciting the help of anyone who might have a clue to the car’s whereabouts.

“I’m hoping somebody’s seen something,” he said. “It’s kind of hard to miss a bright-orange Corvette.”

Anyone with information about the car’s current location is encouraged to call Northern York County Regional Police at (717) 292-3647.
