Check Out '100 Years of Chevy Trucks' at Pennzoil Auto Fair

On April 5-8, the auto show has the old, the new, and the completely rad.

The upcoming Pennzoil Auto Fair will bring thousands of cars and trucks to the Charlotte Motor Speedway in North Carolina, from April 5 through 8. One highlight of the event is the focus on “100 Years of Chevy Trucks” that will feature a wide variety of classic Chevys from yesteryear, and the new 2018 Chevy Silverado Centennial Edition pickup.

The Pennzoil Auto Fair promises thousands of classics, muscle cars, exotic cars, sports cars, hot rods, and trucks. In addition to all that automotive awesomeness, there will be vendor displays, custom builds, and a huge manufacturers midway. And new for 2018 is “East10Drift,” which allows fans to experience drifting via ride-alongs. Plus, there will be exhibition on drifting, too. Also new this year is the first-ever AutoFair Burnout Contest. Open to all car clubs taking part in AutoFair, the contest will feature vehicles competing for the best burnout.

2018 Centennial Edition Silverado - The Centennial Edition

The AutoFair Showcase Garage will be featuring the Centennial Silverado as well as a large assortment of Chevy trucks spanning the company’s 100 years. Some notable rides are a modified 1937 pickup, a 1950 3100, a 1966 C-10 Fleetside, and a rare 1991 S-10 Baja. The exhibit also includes Johnny Sauter’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series ride.

1958 Chevy Impala "American Graffiti"

There will also be a “Movie and Television Cars” display, with some great cars from the silver screen, such as the 1958 Chevy Impala from American Graffiti, the City Chevrolet NASCAR driven by Tom Cruise in Days of Thunder, and a 1985 Chevy/Ferrari Daytona used in Miami Vice.
