It’s a Bird…It’s a Plane…It’s a…Silverado?!?
This truck thinks it can fly! So, we named it ‘R. Chevy.’
This is the type of video that Ford truck enthusiasts live for. You know, sometimes you just want to watch a funny video. For some people, it’s a funny cat video, but for others it’s a hilarious prank. For us, we love watching Chevy owners make questionable decisions, but then again, do they make any other kind? Thankfully, you’re in luck!
We recently came across this video by Next Hero, which shows the owner of a Chevy Silverado taking his truck out to the desert to have some good ol’ fun in the dunes. Spoiler Alert: It doesn’t end well.
The footage is short and sweet, but action-packed. It begins with a huge sand dune and a truck accelerating from behind to jump it. We’ll give credit where credit’s due, as the truck actually get some incredible air courtesy of the driver’s big cojones.
Unfortunately, the landing doesn’t go as planned and the truck lands front-end first! Needless to say, it disables the truck and makes the crowd go wild. Sure, they initially cheered, but the joy quickly died down once they saw the aftermath.
The second half of the video shows us the damage done to the red pickup truck. The front bumper is barely holding on, and while you can’t see much of the engine, you can tell that it’s not going anywhere anytime soon.
Of course, not even stock Ford Raptor would’ve survived that high of a jump, but that’s neither here nor there. What we are looking is the utter destruction of a Chevy Silverado at the hands of a dumb driver pulling a dumb stunt. And you know what? That makes us laugh.
