Hot 1972 C10 Puts Us In the Mood For a Cruise
Gorgeous Turquoise and White 1972 Chevrolet C10 puts a smile on our face standing still, but its big-block V8 would sure make it bigger!
It’s a bit hard to explain when you see a vehicle that just makes you want to take it out for a drive. It doesn’t need to be fast, get sideways, destroy tires, or be loud either figuratively or literally. There are just some cars and trucks out there that you can picture yourself cruising windows down on a warm summer evening with some good tunes on the radio and nowhere to be. This 1972 Chevrolet C10 captures that aura to a T. Buying a truck like this is much more than just taking ownership of a new vehicle; you’re buying a feeling. If that tickles your fancy, we’ve got great news! This truck is for sale.
Listed on Bring A trailer, this charming 1972 Chevrolet C10 wears a beautiful two-tone scheme of Turquoise and White is currently up for grabs. At the time of writing, the auction has about five days left and currently holds a bid of $18,750. Let’s take a closer look at this pretty gem!
Classic Styling Meshes Perfectly with a Classic Power Plant in this Beautifully Restored C10
Though it isn’t the original engine, this C10 is now powered by a staple of classic Chevrolet; the big block 454 V8. Mated to a four-speed automatic transmission, this rear-wheel-drive-only truck features a Holley Carburetor and an electronic ignition system to ensure you get where you want to be. While the 454 isn’t known for making a bunch of power in stock format, we want to reiterate that this truck doesn’t need to make a bunch of power. Just look at it! It’s meant to be enjoyed, not thrashed!
Also unoriginal to the truck is its two-tone paint job. However, interior photos show that this truck has a complete color change, not just a quick respray. Door jambs included! Inside, the doors are painted white to match the theme, and wear beautiful wood grain and cream door panels to match the wood grain-laden dashboard. Black carpet perfectly accents the black and white upholstery, ultimately making this beautiful truck a wonderful place to be.
A Sunday Drive Superstar
The interior of the bed is also turquoise to match the paint scheme. Additionally, a full black tonneau cover and bed carpeting complete the look. While the paint would likely prevent most from hauling anything major back there, we feel it’s justified. This truck has served its term doing truck stuff, and now it’s ready for “retirement” in the form of taking casual drives to car meets and grocery stores.
Finally, accenting the exterior chrome is a set of Rev Classic 100 wheels with somewhat low-profile tires. Bringing it all together is a set of tw0-inch drop spindles up front and four-inch lowering springs outback. What a beautiful truck!
For curiosity’s sake, we’ll definitely be watching to see what this gorgeous old Chevy sells for. If you’re in the market for a pretty old C10, you may want to consider putting together a bidding plan!
