It’s only been two months into 2016, and already General Motors is recalling four vehicles of the same model year. The brand new Chevrolet Camaro, the new Chevy Malibu, the Chevy Silverado, and the GMC Sierra fall under a seat-belt-related radio recall.

You know that super annoying noise your car radio makes when you aren’t buckled or when you open the door while your key is in? Well, basically, an estimated 150 vehicles are believed to fail to always complete this task. That breaks code for Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) numbers 114, “Theft Protection”, and/or 208, “Occupant Crash Protection.

So, it’s technically not a huge deal, but it’s a deal nonetheless. If your car is one of those in trouble, General Motors will contact you and bring you in for a radio software update, free of charge, no problem. If you’re dying to know immediately, check out the GM recall center or hit up the NHTSA website.
