There’s nothing quite as depressing as having your car stolen – especially when it’s as prized as Charles Estelle’s 1977 Corvette.

There’s no mistaking the value of this Corvette. That’s why it’s expected to fetch anywhere between $2 million and $2.75 million when it goes on the block at RM Auctions.

My guess is that even at $400,000, this 1968 L88 Corvette won’t be around long, given the fact that a ’67 model went for $2.3 million back in 2013.

There’s no question about what car Chevrolet wants to focus on at the 2015 New York International Auto Show. Looking to build on the kind of buzz they’ve gotten for cars like the Corvette and the Colorado, they’re now zeroing in on the new 2016 Chevy Malibu.
