Famously Fast and Expensive Camaro Z/28, Used as GM Show Car, Hits the Market at Unusually Cheap Price at Florida Dealership

The Camaro Z/28 was easily one of the greatest performance cars on sale when it launched in 2014. A track-murdering machine with a custom Bow Tie. When it arrived with its $75,000 MSRP there was a lot of complaining about Chevy trying to sell a Camaro that would cost more than a nice Corvette. But then the track times start rolling in. It may have been an expensive Camaro, but it was able to best machines from Germany and Italy that cost well over double its asking price.

In short it was not only the most expensive Camaro of all time, it was also the fastest. It was a sports car-wolf in muscle car-sheep’s clothing. Sadly when the car launched, Chevy severely limited production making it little more than a high-speed unicorn. Only 500 units were produced in its first year.

However, friends, the gods of horsepower are shining upon us. If you want to own the best Gen 5 Camaro ever built, you can buy a like-new 2014 Z/28 right now for $25,000 less than MSRP. Naples Auto Collection in Florida is listing for sale a red Z/28 that was used as a GM show car. Asking price is just under $50,000, or about 30-percent less than it was new. This is technically a zero-owner car, and it has way less than 500 miles on the odometer. There will never be a nicer version of this car sold ever again, and certainly never for a price this cheap.
