Green Car Reports Credits Popular EV’s Honor on Bolt’s Many Enviable Aspects — from a Roomy Interior to Impressive Mileage

If you want to buy the best environmentally conscious car on the market today, get ready to park another Bow Tie in the garage. According to Green Car Reports, the all-new 2017 Chevrolet Bolt is the “Best Car to Buy.” In a world where the EV discussion is dominated by the Tesla name, Chevy delivers a car that is fun to drive, overly spacious and has outstanding range.

Green Car Reports reveals that the Chevy Bolt is the “Best Car to Buy” for a magnitude of reasons. They love its interior volume, which is more expansive than the expensive Tesla Model S. GCR praises GM for promising a 200-mile range and delivering a car that is rated at 240 miles. The fact that it carries an MSRP of just $37,495 is simply icing on top of the electron cake.

To be fair to consumers, it is important to point out that Bolt truly is in a class of its own this year. There are no other EVs in this price range that offer the features and range of the Bolt. None. But that will change over the next 18 months or so. We are about to see the introduction of the Tesla Model 3 and the upgraded Nissan Leaf. The Leaf has a massive following in the U.S. And the number of people waiting for an affordable Tesla is massive. So, it will be interesting to see how things shake up over the next year or two.

Until then however, there is only one choice for new buyers looking to jump into the EV game. And that is America’s new battery-powered hero, the 2017 Chevrolet Bolt.
