Callaway Silverado Signature Edition Add Serious Power to Chevy Hauler
Callaway Silverado Signature Edition packs plenty of power in a nice-looking package with a warranty to boot.
Callaway cut its teeth on the Corvette but has since lent its performance expertise to a host of General Motors models including everything from the Chevrolet Camaro to the Cadillac Escalade. So it should come as no surprise that its latest offering is the Callaway Silverado Signature Edition, a powerful supercharged pickup with plenty of extra style to boot.
The centerpiece of the Callaway Silverado is, of course, what’s under the hood. The tuner starts out with Chevy’s 6.2-liter V8, which produces 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque in stock form. To that, it adds its own third-generation TVS R2650 supercharger and intercooler system, a high-flow intake, engine management system, and a quad-tip stainless steel dual exhaust. The result is 585 horsepower and 567 pound-feet of torque – a healthy gain, indeed.
The Callaway Silverado Signature Edition comes in four-wheel-drive configuration, but buyers can choose between Trail Boss, RST, LTZ, and High Country trim. Each of them is individually serialized to remind occupants that they aren’t just driving any old pickup truck. Of course, there are many other visual clues present on and in the Callaway Silverado as well.
They include Callaway carbon mid-engine covers, either nine-spoke anthracite or ten-spoke satin black 20- or 22-inch Callaway wheels, a Callaway carbon grille, Alcantara horn cover with debossed logos, aluminum door sill inserts, billet aluminum pedals, Callaway key chains, chrome Callaway exterior badges, and serialized underhood and interior plaques.
For those that want more with their Callaway Silverado, optional upgrades include black chrome PVD wheels, a body-color grille, black exterior badges, and even special delivery at a Callaway facility.
What’s particularly nice about Callaway’s latest pickup offering is that it’s 50-state emissions compliant and it even comes with a 3-year, 36,000-mile warranty, or buyers can opt for a longer 5-year, 60,000-mile warranty. Either way, they supplement Chevy’s factory warranty, so owners have a little extra peace of mind in regards to their modified pickups.
The Callaway Silverado Signature Edition is a nice and comprehensive package that provides owners with copious amounts of power in a stylish package that should also prove to be incredibly reliable. Plus, you won’t even have to get your hands dirty or spend the time necessary to install all of this stuff yourself, and for some folks, that’s not such a bad thing.
