Chevrolet Returns to Chicago with New Midnight Edition Pickup Trucks
Set to debut at the 2016 Chicago Auto Show are a couple new special editions of the Chevy pickup truck lineup. Taking the already popular Midnight Edition Silverado, Chevrolet is expanding it to include Silverado HD and Colorado.
Marketing director for Chevrolet Trucks Sandor Piszar said the Silverado Midnight Edition was very popular, “The Silverado 1500 Midnight was by far the most popular model [special eidtion] in 2015.” From there they decided to expand those to the other truck offerings.
Each Midnight Edition comes with some special equipment;
- Off-road suspension
- Locking rear differential
- Transfer case shield
- Hill Descent Control
- Aggressive Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac all-terrain tires
- All-black front end with body-colored grille, bumper, headlamp bezels, tow hooks and fog lamps
- Black side moldings and beltline moldings
- Black painted alloy wheels
- Special Z71 badges on the doors
- A spray-in bedliner
- Black Chevrolet bowties for the front and rear
