Vintage Chevy truck takes on ’74 F-150 4×4 and ’94 Dodge Ram 1500.

The Fast Lane Truck has been hard at work on putting together a trio of old mega-pickup trucks for a badass battle to see which truck is tops. With some help from Mr. Truck and a large amount of patience, TFLT eventually found three massive, old-school trucks, including an awesome 1985 Chevrolet K10 pickup called “Big Green.” And now that the trio is complete, there’s nothing left to do but pit the trucks against one another to name a victor.

The trucks that Big Green competes against are a 1974 Ford F-250 4×4 Highboy named “Rusty Boy” and a 1994 Dodge Ram 1500 called “Dodgezilla Overkill.” Obviously, we’re rooting for the K10 pickup truck and we think it has what it takes to best its competition.

As TFLT states, the Chevrolet K10 pickup has a brand-new 350 cu.in. ZZ6 V8 that’s capable of producing up to 405 horsepower. The four-speed manual transmission, on the other hand, is the original, 32-year-old unit and has a “granny” first gear, which means the truck might get smoked in a drag race. But still, it’s got our full support. Luckily, there’s an off-road test that the trucks will need to complete, as well.
