GMC Sierra Goliath Gets 700HP Thanks to Supercharger

By -

Adding a Whipple supercharger gets this Goliath max power thanks to Hennessey Performance.

Hennessey likes to throw power at cars, and the Goliath 700 is no exception. Named after the number of horsepower it makes, this GMS Sierra churns out 700 horsepower. But this rig goes beyond just a Whipple supercharger.

The starting base is a 6.2 liter GMC Sierra (or AT4, Denali, even Chevy Silverado). From there Hennessey adds a 2.9 liter Whipple supercharger. Additional modifications bolster that performance. Hardware includes an upgraded HPE camshaft and hardened pushrods. A high flow air filter and intercooler help the air enter the supercharger and enter the engine at efficient temperatures. Software from HPE makes the best of the added 6 psi of compressed air. All other engine aspects are looked at as well, so you’ll have fresh fluids and gaskets. Hennessey touts a three-year 36,000-mile warranty, too. In this video, we aren’t given any performance specs, but we would assume 700 horsepower allows it to scoot down the road with little fuss.

Hennessey also touts its off-road Stage 1 Off-Road package. This raises the rig a total of 6 inches. But it does also ride on custom 20 inch HPE rims wrapped in 35 inch rubber. A Custom “GOLIATH” emblazoned front bumper matches a custom rear bumper, and LED lighting throughout adds to the visual appeal. Visual enhancements are carried out in other areas too. Hennessey badging is added to the bed, and “GOLIATH 700” script is seen on the doors, too.

The price? Well, you’ll have to start with the MSRP of the applicable 6.2-liter truck, and then hand over a $29,950 check for the performance and another $18,950 for the Stage-1 Off-Road package. All-in, you’re looking at a steep 6-figure price tag. Spending over $100,000 is not enough for you? If you’re feeling a desire for an added extra custom touch, you can get the leather diamond stitched with “GOLIATH” stitched in red across the headrests for both front and rear seats. And you can add a Brembo big brake kit that brings the front rotor size up to 15.1 inches. You can still further add a ram air hood, side steps, and electronic retractable bed cover.

And oddly, you can get a stainless steel exhaust system, too. But we think that should be included with the performance upgrades. But we digress.
