Inaugural HistoryCon Gives History Channel Fans Unprecedented Access

History fans will want to head to Pasadena, California April 3-5 for the ultimate experience HistoryCon has in store.

If you’re anything like us, you probably spend a fair amount of time watching various History Channel shows. And who can blame us? After all, there’s more than enough cool and interesting TV on this one channel to keep us occupied for far too many hours at a time. That’s especially true for automotive enthusiasts, who have the addictive series Counting Cars to binge watch. And if that sounds like your typical lazy evening at home, you’ll undoubtedly want to check out the upcoming first-ever HistoryCon, taking place April 3-5.

Much like all those other comic book, movie, and show conventions, HistoryCon is a massive celebration of all things History. The TV conglomerate promises a host of cool reasons to attend the event, which will fills the massive void that is the Pasadena Convention Center in Pasadena, California next spring. The biggest reason, of course, is that all your favorite stars will be in attendance to meet, sign autographs, and host fascinating panel discussions.

That includes both Danny Koker (a.k.a. The Count) and Kevin Mack from Counting Cars, for starters. And as you likely already know, Count’s Kustoms has built quite a few cool Chevy trucks over the years. Including both vintage and modern stop trucks. But you’ll also see the stars of shows including American Pickers, Pawn Stars, Forged in Fire, Swamp People, Ancient Aliens, and more. So no matter what your fancy, HistoryCon promises to offer up something for every History Channel junkie.

The full schedule has yet to be determined, but still looks promising at this point. In addition to the aforementioned activities, HistoryCon also plans on hosting some very cool exhibits and a massive marketplace. There are already a large number of topics scheduled for panel discussions as well, from food-related tidbits to exploring the history of low riders.
