Camaros had the spotlight in Michigan, but there were tons of other cool cars to see at the General Motors Heritage Center.

Earlier this month, prolific auto journalist and LS1Tech editor Jake Stumph was on hand at the 26th annual Camaro SuperFest at Sterling Heights, Michigan’s General Motors Heritage Center. While most were there to see the extensive Camaro collection, Stumph, who was covering the event for LS1Tech, took some time to look at virtually everything the Heritage Center had to offer. The result of his photo coverage includes a stellar collection of some of the coolest Chevy cars on the planet.

Since it was Camaro SuperFest, why not start with one of the standout Camaros? This beautiful 1969 Camaro pictured above was the top choice for drivers looking for a sporty vehicle that was not a full-on race car. The one at the Heritage Center proudly says it’s the official pace car of the 53rd Annual Indianapolis 500.

Other highlights include a 1970 Chevy El Camino SS and its sexy red paint job with black stripes. There was also one of the meanest-looking Impalas you’ll ever see, with a twin-turbo LSX crate engine.
