Trax Lease Deals

Bow Tie looks to lure fans of foreign cars over to Chevy with new cash incentives that make now the best time to score a 2017 Trax.

If you’ve been thinking about leasing a 2017 Chevy Trax (and maybe even if you haven’t), it looks like now is the time to act, because the latest Trax leases are reportedly scorching hot and incredibly cheap. There’s only one caveat: You must currently be leasing a Japanese car to receive the best deals. That’s obviously a no-go for some, but for others, it opens a huge door of opportunity.

Just how huge, you say? How about $0 down and $53 a month? Through March 31, Chevrolet is offering a $3,000 Competitive Lease cash incentive for current lessees of certain Japanese car brands. Those brands include Toyota, Honda, Mitsubishi, Hyundai, Subaru, Kia, Nissan and Mazda. Lease Hakr did the math for us to figure out exactly how the deal works.

Lease Hakr assumes a selling price of $20,500, which is below MSRP but consistent with current ad prices. If you have excellent credit and take the 24-month lease at 10,000 miles per year using the current incentives, your pre-tax cost is $53 a month. For a mere $867 (first payment, fees and taxes), you can drive off in a brand-new Chevy.

The total cost of the lease, including taxes and fees, is $2,344, which works out to less than $100 a month all in.

Also, consumers don’t have to end their current lease or trade in their car to get a good deal on a Trax lease. And even if you’re leasing any other kind of non-GM car, you still get $1,500 in incentive cash. Either way, it’s a screaming deal that should drive a lot of folks into Chevy dealerships and online auto sellers this month.
