Silverados Battle the Elements in Crazy Off-road Compilation

By -

From getting stuck on the rocks to fording rivers like champions, this Silverado comp proves how tough Chevy’s big truck is.

There’s just one thing to do when you own a big, badass Chevy. No, not go pick a few stack of lumber. Muddin’! Trail-bashing! Riding the dunes! Your truck works as hard as you, so it can also play as hard as you.

How hard? In this timeless off-roading clip, we bring you a little Silverado compilation from YouTube channel The Auto. It has a little bit of everything, plus a few laughs to go with America’s favorite full-size pickup.

The main feature of the compilation features a blue Silverado following a Jeep on a rocky, muddy forest trail. The Jeep already made it past the rocks when the Silverado’s owner rolled up. The owner attempted to position his rig to better climb the obstacle, only to get stuck.

After sliding back upon the rocks, the cameraman runs to the other side, lest any pebbles fly his way. In the end, the Silverado finally makes it over the obstacle to continue its journey.

Next up, a red Silverado Z71 trudges through a mud hole, steam flowing from the top of the cab. Unlike the the last truck, this one climbs out of the muck like a champ.

Meanwhile, another red Silverado eschews the mud for flying high above the sand. The driver’s sick jump leads to a sickening crunch upon landing. The sounds it makes after aren’t pleasant, either, though the cheering from the crowd makes up for it.

Moments later, the crowd gathers around the Silverado’s owner, who is trying to fix the damage his jump created. Speaking of, the front bumper is completely gone, having took the brunt of the impact.

Finally, a white Silverado goes for a swim in a river, splashing water all over the place. As the cameraman notes, the driver learned how to “ride the river today,” doing it in style.

The compilation is just a nice example of all the things the Silverado can do. We’re only happy to bring the fun to you.
