SEMA Chevy Silverado

Looking for a killer show truck with one-off features and a booming stereo? This Silverado is sure to please.

As you already know, the annual SEMA show is the ultimate showcase for aftermarket automotive parts and accessories. It’s also where we get to see dozens of amazing builds that show off these exciting wares. But after their 15 minutes of fame, these vehicles go on to live normal lives, typically. And oftentimes, they go up for sale for a percentage of the big money it cost to build them. And this 2016 Chevy Silverado listed for sale in the Chevrolet Forum Marketplace is a great example of that.

This particular Silverado appeared at the 2016 SEMA show fitted with a host of accessories from a Brazilian company called Keko. On the outside, that includes a custom one-off bed-mounted rack, soft tonneau cover, and tow hitch. Other custom touches include side steps, black Bow Tie emblems, and custom Rally stripes. It’s all capped off with a set of XD Series Black Grenade wheels wrapped in 33×12.5 20″ Toyo Open Country RT tires.

As nice as all that is, the real star of this Silverado show lies inside the cabin. For starters, the leather and suede seats came from a Corvette. Then there’s an incredible stereo system consisting of nothing but top notch parts. They include a Sundown Audio SVC 4000D Bass amp, SAX 125.4 Mids 4-Channel amp, two pairs of SA-6.5CS V.2 Comps, and a pair of Ampere Audio 3-inch Mid Bass speakers. A total of six Sundown Audio X-6.5SW V.2 subwoofers reside in a custom Plexiglass box with a red LED face the reads “Certified Basshead.”

To contain all that noise and ensure it doesn’t rattle any body panels, the whole truck has been treated to Alphard Deaf Bounce Sound Deadener 3.0. And with a Mechman 370 Elite alternator and a pair of batteries providing the juice, it reportedly hits hard with little residual noise on the outside. If you’re somebody who appreciates music and high quality systems, this one’s sure to please.
