Colorado High Country Storm sports design elements not found on regular Colorados, including black-hued 18-inch alloy wheels.

Chevrolet continues to introduce exciting new models of its well-established line of trucks to markets across the world. A perfect example of this trend is the introduction of the Colorado High Country Storm, a flashy addition to the popular Colorado lineup. This truck will soon be available in the Philippines for the first time, reports Top Gear Philippines.

The High Country Storm is distinct from other similar Chevy models that have been released in the recent past. “It has design elements that aren’t found on other regular Colorados, like the black accents on the bed, bumpers, door handles, and tailgate,” says Top Gear’s Paulo Rafael Subido. “It also has special decals, and a set of black-hued 18-inch alloy wheels.”

The truck’s slick exterior isn’t the only thing to be excited about.

The interior features high-quality materials and technology such as MyLink infotainment system and Apple Carplay. Under the hood, a 2.8-liter turbodiesel engine produces 200 horsepower and 600Nm.

“Pickups these days are no longer utilitarian, and the High Country Storm is proof of that,” says Subido.

The Colorado High Country Storm’s features include a 4×4 system, electronic power steering, lane-departure warning, forward-collision alert, traction control, hill-start assist, and stability control, among many others, which Subido says is “a lot of bang for the buck.”
With an ever-increasing amount of competition in the global pickup truck market, Chevrolet continues to stand out.
