TRUCK YOU! A 1970 Chevrolet El Camino SS

When one thinks of a truck, there are several things that may pop into their minds. The first, and most obvious, is the typical cab and bed setup that true “trucks” seem to come with. The second may be SUVs of all types, such as the Chevrolet Tahoe or the Blazer. Some people may even label vans as trucks, given that they serve a relatively similar function. Lastly, however, is the more forgotten class of trucks — the half-breeds. Whether we’re talking about the Ford Ranchero, the Chevrolet El Camino, or the Subaru Brat (or maybe the more modern Subaru Baja), these car-truck crosses deserve some recognition as well!

Today we’ll be stepping into the garage of Chevrolet Forum member Dave, who is also known by his username 502 ELCO, and taking a closer look at his El Camino that lies within!

To be more specific, Dave is the proud owner of a 1970 Chevrolet El Camino SS. Flawless in appearance, even jealousy-inducing, this ride seems pretty much perfect. Of course, how could a forty-six year old Golden Era muscle car not be appealing? We definitely love it!

In addition to his El Camino, Dave is also the proud owner of a 2001 Harley-Davidson 1200 Sportster, a 2013 Hyundai Genesis, a 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage, and an abundance of Honda Mini-Trail 70s and 50s. Go stop by his garage and leave some comments, browse the photography, and have a great time! Be sure to keep your garage up to date and maybe you’ll be featured next week on TRUCK YOU!
