TRUCK YOU! A Revived 1999 Chevrolet Suburban
When all you’veĀ ever known is Japanese rides, it can be quite an exciting prospect to finally get your hands on a truly American ride! Chevrolet Forum member MFY recently moved from his home country of Turkey to the good ol’ USA. To be more specific, he moved to San Diego, California. It didn’t take him long to pick up his first ever American vehicle — a 1999 Chevrolet Suburban.
Before that MFY owned a 1991 Nissan 200sx that he used as a drift car and a daily driver, a Nissan Frontier 4×4, and a 2000 Honda XR650-R. But now that he has lived in the United States, he has clearly become a Chevy guy! Today we’ll step inside his garage and take a closer look at his new rig that lies within!
The Suburban wasn’t in perfect shape when MFY bought it. In fact, it looked like it had been in a collision that had decently damaged the front of the ride.
Even so, he was very glad to have it, and within just a few days of owning the rig he had managed to repair nearly everything! This Chevy tank is definitely a far reach from his Nissan drift car that he used to own, but he still seems to know his way around vehicles quite well!
It’s always a great thing when a wrecked vehicle is repaired, since many people will write them off as useless regardless of how bad the damage is.
Go stop by MFY’s garage and leave some comments, browse the photography, and have a great time! Be sure to keep your garage up to date and maybe you’ll be featured next week on TRUCK YOU!
