Default 1988-1998 Bolt Pattern Question

Hey Guys I'm new to the forum. I'd rather the bolt pattern for my 1992 C1500 was a more standardized 6x5.5in as I could find new wheels easier than with my 5x5in pattern. I've found online that there are conversion kits for the front brake rotors on older year model C10s (1960-78), and I'm wondering if rotors from these year models could be made to work on for the next generation(1988-98)? Also, looking into the rear axel shafts I've found that the K1500 shares the same 30 spline count as the C1500, however the shaft is 1 inch longer. Also wondering if these could be made to work. Curious if it would even be worth the effort. Other perspectives would be appreciated. Thanks
