Default 1992 Silverado 5.7 replacement power steering box
Any preferences or horror stories about reman. boxes to avoid? I would like to avoid new from stealership costs if you guys feel there are good remanufactured choices.

Get the reman with the tank installed. It will save you a lot of grief.
