1996 1500 security lockout
I had a spare key made. it worked . shortly afterword security light on dashboard next to radio started to blink, running lights started to flash and motor would not turn over. It has a manual trans. so I was able to start with a tow. how do I reset the thing.

Might try with key in ign on, not cranking. Leave it set for 30 minutes, without turning the ign switch off, try to start it.
