Default 2x4-4x4 conversion

I have 96 c1500 and a 98 k1500.
they both are extended cab short boxes.
im putting the 4x4 5.7 350 in the 96.
I bought the 98 k1500 with everything already out of it. The engine transmission and transfer case along with the gas tank and drive shafts. I have all these parts. I need to replace all the front end parts on the 96 c1500 anyway. Sooo how hard would it be to make my 2x4 96 c1500 into a k1500? I already have all the parts besides the front end parts I would have to buy anyways. Can I just take the axles off of the k1500 and put them under my c1500 and put the torsion bars onto the c1500? It’s seems to me everything should line right up.

You'll need the ECM and the dash buttons, or floor shifter parts, possibly more.
