Default 4.3L Missfire when cold, only under load.

Hi all!
I have an 89' 1500 with the 4.3L with TBI. Recently its started this thing where when its cold, it has a horrible missfire under load. I can floor it, and it just falls on it's face, but will eventually slowly come out of it. At a stop, I can give it all the throttle and its fine. It will go away for the most part when it warms up, but still will pick up a slight missfire at mid RPM in every gear. I haven't tried anything yet as I haven't had the time to really look at it. I'm looking at ignition, but would like to get different perspectives.
