Default 6.2 diesel idle rpm adjust

Hi,
How to adjust idle rpm on 6.2 diesel 93 K2500? Or what' s the matter... Now it's too high. Tried to drop it down but when I got it down a bit it started to "die" when stopping for exemple to traffic lights. And it took quite a lot starting to get it running again.
I haven't measured any exact rpm numbers. Otherwise it starts right up even standing for a week.

The high idle solenoids (cold advance)can be problematic. Possible that it was engaged when you adjusted the idle speed then disengaged at some point leaving you with too low of an idle

Hi
and thanks for the tip. I know that first I played with the cold solenoid. There is a adjusting possibility also, was it so? Cause now I think it's not working as it should. Rpm stays the same don't matter if it's cold or warm engine. Any tips how to adjust the cold solenoid properly?
