Default 91 k2500 spark plug fouling

I’ve got a 5.7 350 and have been having some issue with plugs fouling primarily on the passenger side (2,4,6,8). I’ve had to change them out a couple times a year to keep it running right. Otherwise it’ll start to misfire/sputter when I accelerate. Pretty decent oil on those plugs as well. She leaks oil like a sieve but I’m fairly certain that it’s from the oil pan gasket that I haven’t got around to changing out yet. Just wondering if theres something I can do about the fouling without having to pull engine block out. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Not much on a 91 with a lot of miles. Gotta be burning oil and fouling the plugs. STP will cut down oil on worn out rings for a certain amount of time, but it wont stop it.

any blue smoke out the exhaust on accelleration?
is the air filter getting oil pushed into it?

ash deposits on the center electrode? could be oil pulled through the valve stems if its only one head

Used to be, probably not available now, spark plug extenders that helped keep the oil fouling down. You don't post the miles, however the engine is (I assume original) 26 years old. This could be valve seals. Compression test will tell you if rings, or valve seals. I do remember changing valve guide seals with the head on, compressed air in the cylinder to keep the valve from dropping, but that too, was a long time ago.

Just did a compression test. All cylinders were running around 200 except the #2 cylinder which was around 155. All of them jumped up when I did the wet test as well. Not seeing anything as far as discolored exhaust. Might just do a complete overhaul and replace the intake, heads and the entire exhaust though. While I’ve got it apart I’ll check all the valve guides and maybe get some valve sealant on all that. Truck’s got about 222k on it so I’m guessing that none of that’s been maintained. Anymore thoughts on what it could be? Thanks again
