I'm looking at getting the rough country 6inch lift kit for my truck, but it specifies its for the 8 lug truck, and my 1993 K2500 is a 6 lug. From the research I've done, the only difference between the 6 lug and 8 lug 3/4 ton trucks is the that the 6 lug axles are just lighter duty axles, and all the suspension should be the same. So would there be an issue with putting the 8 lug 2500 lift on it, or do I need to get the 6 lug 1500 lift?

 

Did you ever find out which lift worked? Iam having the same issue with my 94 diesel 6 lug
