I recently had this problem, accept when I would floor it from a stop, I got hesitation, popping and sometimes the truck would stall. I replaced a ton of parts to determine the wiring harness from the ignition coil to the distributor was bad (the black one, its about 12inches long) then the truck came back to life but would sometimes still sputter only from take off. Replaced the Grey one and my problems went away.
Jiggle the wire harness at the ignition coil while the truck is running and see if she acts up.
