2000 6l antifreeze?

Whats the best type to put in my 2000 6l. I hear all kinds of stories about corrosion.

The best type is what's already in there. Switching from DEX-COOL to non-DEX-COOL will require plenty of flushing. Going the other way is even more problematic.

GM recommends the DEX-COOL antifreeze, which includes sebacate and ethylhexanoic acid as an inhibitors. It has better working life than others.

So stay with Dex- Cool is the way to go.
