I have a 95 chevy 1500 silverado that will stall out no matter what we do. we can turn it over most of the time and it will stall when putting it in gear sometimes and then it will be ok. it will also stall when reversing almost all the time and randomly when just driving it. we have changed out the exhaust thinking the cats were plugged and it didnt really change it much. was wondering if anyone knew what could be the issue.

dirty fuel filter and/or a filthy sock in the fuel tank

Un-plug the temp sensor at the thermostat housing. If it is faulty, it will clean up in seconds. It can cause weird things to happen.
