While idling, my chevy’s oil gauge bounces repeatedly from normal readings to fairly low. If I continue accelerating it reads perfectly normal. Oil lvl is fine and I did an oil change a week ago. Any ideas on whats going out?

 

Had the same issue in my 92 k1500, I ignored it and finally a rod knock came on, we believed it was the oil pump after we did some testing on the relays, but the symptoms you’re having are identical to mine, hope this helps

 

For peace of mind, connect a manual pressure gauge at block. They are cheap!
