Default 97 Silverado Diesel ran out of fuel - How to start?

My 97 diesel silverado 3500 dually ran out of fuel. I'm wondering how to bleed the line in this truck to get it started. Thanks for any help.

The injectors are self bleeding, but cracking one of the lines at the injector may speed things up. Don't overcrank, a 6.5 starter gets really hot really fast. I think they need a minute of rest for 10 seconds of cranking.

So I shouldn't have to even bleed the lines? I put fuel in when it happened and it still wouldn't start back up. I was really low on diesel going up a steep hill and it stalled out on me, it had to be towed home. It's been sitting for a while since but I need to sell it now so I'd like to get it running.

Bleed through the fuel filter or t-valve to make sure fuel is getting that far. Lift pump failure, and sending unit problems are common on these trucks.

If all is well there , crack open a injector line and see if fuel is getting there.

Are there any videos of how to do that on this vehicle? I was trying to find something but didn't have any luck. Maybe if I just search for this specific engine?
