my 98 k3500 crew won't start . i have replaced 3 fuel pumps in 5 years and it's happening again. i did a pressure test at the schradder valve and got Zero pressure on the gauge when i crank it over although i can hear the pump run and shut off normally. also i pushed the valve in with my finger and there was fuel there but did not spray out with much gusto.
wondering if the pressurer reg. could be the culprit ? the previous pumps i installed were all after market brands are they really that bad ? one side note i noticed when i turn the key the fuel gauge pegs rapidly then returns to proper fuel level any ideas would be appreciated .. going crazy with this
