Any problem blocking off the engine oil cooling?

Got an old worn out 1998 K1500. Engine oil cooling lines are shot. Any problem just blocking them off? Too expensive to replace everything.

Shouldn't hurt it. My 1998 K-1500 doesn't even have oil cooling
lines to the radiator , and it's running fine. More important to change oil and filter often, IMO.
