Default Blown ECMB Fuse

Hey all!
Recently my 97 Silverado 5.7l Vortec has had some issues. My fuel pump won't run and I've blown through 4 ECMB 20 amp fuses trying to find the issue. I figure it's a wiring issue, but I can't seem to find anything wrong. I can't find a ground wire other than the braided one from the block to the frame which I cleaned up. Could I just have a dead fuel pump?
Any help greatly appreciated!

Be my take, replace the fuel pump. Probably that's where the short is

Default Tried

Replaced fuel pump - died after 5 miles. ECM-B fuse was intact when it died but blew when I tried turned the key to the "On" position. Fuel pump no longer running. Short somewhere?
