A/C Issues
Hello everybody I'm having some strange issues with my 1998 Chevy 2500. The issue I'm having is while I have the A/C turned on it drags down my battery slightly and it also drags my motor down like it's missing almost while I'm driving down the road. If I have the A/C on and say I pull up to a red light or a four way stop and I begin to give it some gas it makes it take longer to get up to whatever the speed is. Now when the A/C is off and it's just the blower going, there's no problem at all and the heat is the same. It's just when the A/C is going that it does all this and I need that A/C since I live in South Mississippi. If you've ever been down here during the summer time, you know exactly what I'm talking about. I've had this truck for about 5-6 years now and this has been a issue since day 1 and never understood why. I've been meaning to take it to be looked at but every time I do there's something that comes up. Just like recently I had to drag my wife's car to the shop to have a transmission put in so you can see where I'm coming from on that. Any idea of what it could be would be greatly appreciated!
