Got a 1995 c1500 4.3l v6 from a old lady for $200. Motor was in bed and half covered. Got everything cleaned up found that motor had spun bearing. Ran numbers for short block and found out short block is a 96-98 block with 93-95 tbi heads and intake. Question will this setup work because it looks like her husband attempted to rebuild but abandoned ship and parked it. If it is possible I will have the block decked and crank machined and rebuilt or should I just start over and find a 1995 long block
