Default Cold weather starting issue

Hello all, it has been a while since my last thread, but here it goes.... 1998 5.7 Vortec, Auto extended cab C2500. Battery is 5 months old and starter is 4 years old. In the mornings, while attempting to start, the truck sounds if I has a weak battery, I turn the key and I get a "Click,Click,Click" while the starter is spinning. Battery tested Good!!, I went to 2 different places to have checked, connections are tight. Alternator is charging well, 14+ volts at first start up, then back down to 13-13.5v once warmed up. Ok, I guess that's it... thanks

did they actually check the battery cables with a meter and not just do a visual.just because they look good on the outside doesen,t mean the cables are good.my father inlaw had an issue with his caddilac and had his alternator, battery and starter repalced, funny thing is the mechanic working on it kept adding more and more body grounds to the car trying to sort out the issue which he never resolved.my father inlaw brought his car to me and i noticed right away that there were so many extra body grounds.i asked him for a set of booster cables and attached the cable to ground on the motor and one on the battery neg terminal and it fired right up with no problem.so what i did was unhook the booster cable and his problem came back.he had a bad ground cable from the battery to the engine block.replaced it with a new one and his problem was fixed, like i said just because it looks good on the outside, doesn,t mean its good.using a multimeter is a good way to find bad cables and connections.hope this helps.
