1994obs

I have a cracked dashboard so i went ahead and purchased a new one and was able to completely remove the dashboard, my only problem now is switching it out for the new one. A mechanic told me the easy part is to remove it and it is 100x harder to put it back. He wants to charge $400 to install the new one but im not willing to pay that, if anyone has any photos, advice, videos on how to install the new dashboard i would greatly appreciate the help.
