Talking Dually Wheel Help

Hey team
Im new here, all the way from New Zealand.
Just bought a 1990 Chevrolet C3500 single cab dually 454 big block
Photos are attached
Im looking for a bit of help on wheel and tire options
I just want to leave the factory wheels but with some more AT Mud tires on it
Its fully factory height etc, Can anyone help with tire sizing for the rear at all?
The tyre guys in NZ arent helpful as we dont have many duallys on our road
Or even some tyre and wheel specs from other Dually owners.
Thanks !

I’m not sure what your question is - are you wanting to know what the standard factory size tires are or what the largest size tire is you can install without lifting the truck?

Standard size from the factory was 245-75-16 but 225-75-16 was an option. I’m not sure how big you could go without lifting it.

Good AT tires in the US are BF Goodrich All Terrain and Hankook Dynapro AT. Both do well in mud but also have more aggressive tread options. I’m running a set of Fuzion AT on my Ford Escape and they’ve done well so far as needed (heavy snow instead of mud).

I doubt you could go any larger than the tires you have on it without rubbing.

Nice looking truck!
