I have a 95 and the front of the frame on the drive side right where it goes to curve is rusted through in a pretty big spot, any suggestions on what to do. thinking about taking some 1/4 steel and plating the frame on 3 sides.. any input would be great

Wow I've seen some rusty frames but nothing rusted through like that. I'm sure any frame specialist would tell you it's junk at this point. The first step would be to find out how moisture is getting in and collecting in that spot.
If it was mine I'd start cutting out the worst rust till I get to good metal, then assuming you haven't had to cut too far into the frame, go cut a patch piece out of a junkyard truck and weld it in.
