Default Fusible Links

From everything I read, there should not be a fuse used in replace of a fusible link. That's fine. However, fusible links are something that are difficult or impossible to test. Therefore, replacing them is probably a good idea. Especially after a known electrical problem.

However, finding the correct size replacement link is difficult too. How does one tell which one to buy as a replacement? I cannot seem to figure it out from the manual. What am I missing?
