Hello, issue electrical issue with 1991 Chevy gmt-400
Hi everyone
so I’m working on this 91 gmt-400, I recently took out the wiring harness in the cab out because it was spliced and cut up something bad
i replaced with stock harness/fuse box used, the truck starts and all the lights work inside can, cluster works
now this is the issue, the person wants to add an electronic dash and when I hooked into a 12v constant pin nothing happened
i tested all the fuses and I’m only get 7 bolts at all connections in the cab
the engine bay has 12-14 volts, I even unplugged the fuse box in the engine bay and it had 12 volts,
seems as soon as power is transferred into the fuse block inside of cab volts drop down from 12v to 7v
any information is greatly app
