Hot rod

I have a 1995 Chevy Silverado C 2500 HD extended cab long bed. Can I turn that into a hot rod? Pretty sure I can was wondering if there any downside because it’s a 2500

I think you can hot rod any vehicle. Not sure why it would matter if its a 1500 or 2500, if you want to hot rod a truck?
